Overview Element to SVG (“the Extension”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes what data the Extension does and does not collect.
Data collection The Extension does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data or user data of any kind. No information about you, your browsing activity, the pages you visit, or the elements you capture is sent to any server or third party.
Local storage The Extension stores only your UI preferences (chosen export format and scale setting) in your browser’s local storage using the chrome.storage.local API. This data never leaves your device.
Screenshots and exports When you activate the Extension and click an element, a screenshot of the visible browser tab is taken using the chrome.tabs.captureVisibleTab API. This screenshot is processed entirely within your browser to crop and export the selected element. The image data is saved directly to your device and is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared.
Permissions The Extension requests only the permissions necessary to function. See the Chrome Web Store listing for a full justification of each permission.
Third parties The Extension does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Changes If this privacy policy changes, the updated policy will be published at this URL with a revised date.
